Youri Rebeko is a film composer and screenwriter.

He has a background in writing for film, video games and theater. This led him to explore the many faces of storytelling over different media, and to understand the language of writers and directors.

The first step towards film composition came during lockdown, when a friend asked him to score his film.

Since then, Youri has written music for many short films, commercials, plays and an art installation. He has also published two albums of instrumental music.

A classically trained pianist, he has studied musical theory, harmony and composition. Using this background and his passion for films, he translates stories and characters into music.

Growing up in a multicultural and multilingual environment, he draws inspiration from many sources and loves exploring different genres, textures and soundscapes.

Youri is fluent in French, English, German and Russian. He plays the piano and the guitar (and he sings!) (sometimes).
